Potty training is not always smooth sailing for most families. In fact, like most things in parenting, it can be difficult for both parents and kids to navigate. I am so excited to welcome Erin, a mom from the PDT community, to chat about potty training resistance in her son. She has twin 2.5-year-olds and both had some resistance, but her son, H, had more. We discuss:

  • Why potty-training resistance is so stressful for parents
  • Some basic tips to deal with school and home consistency and poop refusal
  • Ways to reframe when things in parenting don’t go according to plan
